Scripture Study
Daily scripture study has been encouraged by prophets of God since at least the time of Moses. Scripture study has many purposes. It is our spiritual food for our day to day walk with God. It is a source of strength, light, and knowledge. It is a way to see subjects as God sees them. It is a method to test our theories and ideas as we seek for truth. Whatever the purpose you seek or need at this time, we applaud you for your efforts to establish a strong habit of daily scripture study.
Scriptural Science, is the process of reaching out into higher learning from a scriptural foundation. Essential to this is making a habit of daily, personal scripture study coupled with the practice of "search, ponder, and pray". Many prophets, ancient and modern, have prophesied a day when great temporal knowledge will be poured down upon God's Saints. We believe this will come as we truly lay hold upon the scriptures and couple this with real, scholarly education built on the foundation of the Word of God. As such we have developed a number of tools that we hope can help you in your efforts to "feast" upon the words of Christ.
As we seek to make our scripture study alive and powerful in our daily lives we have identified a number of elements that we think are worth consideration:
1) Establishing a consistent daily habit: read more about Daily Scripture Study.
2) Regularly using chapter reading to bring the Spirit: read more about Chapter Reading.
3) Employing various reading methods to keep your scripture study alive: read more about Varied Approach.
If you are struggling to get your habit of daily scripture study back on track, we would like to share some ideas, good quotes, and words of encouragement: read more about Encouragement.
